The Baltimore County Police Department identified 41-year-old Donald "Off Road" Busick, Jr. as the biker who was killed late on Saturday night in Middle River.

According to police, shortly after 11:30 p.m. on May 18, officers were called to the intersection of Orems Road and Old Orems Road, where investigators say that Busick attempted to negotiate a left-hand turn and crashed.

Busick was treated by first responders and rushed to an area hospital, where he later died. It is unclear what caused the crash, which remains under investigation.

The crash came hours after Busick posted a Facebook post with friends.

Following his death, friends, family, and other riders penned touching tributes to Busick that they shared on social media.

"I am grateful for every moment spent with my brother, for the laughter and the tears, and for the love we shared," Patrick Cleg wrote. "He was not just a sibling but a true friend, a confidant, and a guiding star."

A "Celebration of Life" for Busick is set to be scheduled for a later date, according to his obituary.
